Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative tool in medicine, offering innovative approaches for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning. Lung cancer remains a leading cause of mortality globally, necessitating advanced strategies for early detection and effective management. This review highlights current AI applications in lung cancer, including tools for detection, diagnosis, prediction, and therapeutic planning. It also addresses key challenges in clinical implementation, such as data quality, model interpretability, and integration into healthcare systems. Strategies to overcome these limitations are discussed, alongside future directions for AI development in oncology. By improving diagnostic accuracy, optimizing treatment decisions, and enhancing accessibility, AI holds significant potential to advance lung cancer management and improve patient outcomes worldwide.
